FASHION CELEBRATES FOSTER PRIDE

On Wednesday, June 15th, form 6:30-8:30pm,  fashion luminaries including Joe Zee, Rob Younkers and Robert Geller are co-hosting "FASHION CELEBRATES FOSTER PRIDE," a benefit for the non-profit mentoring foster children which was named "One of NYC's 4 Best Charities" by CBS.com

Fashion and Foster Pride are a natural fit, since one of Foster Pride's key programs is HandMade, which teaches young women in foster care how to crochet--and to run a small business selling their unique goods at stores such as Nordstrom's, American Eagle's Soho boutique and Milk on the Rocks in Paris. This past spring, students from the Parson's School of Design teamed up with Foster Pride students to produce a new and edgy  line of crocheted chokers, bags and bracelets, which will be debuted at the party.

The location is the gorgeous 1stdibs galleries, with food from Cookshop, wine and gin tonics and great auction prizes donated from our fabulous co-hosts.
