Some of the many health benefits of this fruit when consumed; are improvements in the appearance and condition of our hair, skin and nails. Its excellent for hydrating; adding lemon juice to water with a pinch a sea salt provides electrolytes to the body and helps to retains moisture in excessive heat. This acidic fruit turns alkaline when ingested and stabilizes the stomach's PH levels, which strengthens the immune system.

Face peel

As a fruit lemons are acidic, so a small amount of the juice applied directly to your face acts as a mild peel. Directions: Squeeze lemon juice into a bowl and apply to your face with a sea sponge or cotton ball, leave for 10 minutes then rinse. These light applications once a week will brighten your complexion and serve as an antibacterial for blemishes and dark spots. It will also balance oily skin. Do not apply to dry skin.


Benefits: Perhaps the tastiest natural medicine, its healing and antibacterial properties not only fight infections and aids tissue repair, but also helps reduce inflammation and scarring. In its raw form-vitamins present in honey are B6, thiamin, niacin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid and certain amino acids. The minerals found in honey include calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and zinc. Face cleanser

Directions: Just spread honey onto your face, rub it in as you would any cleaner and then rinse off. When water is applied to honey it instantly melts away, there is no sticky residue left behind. And your skin is left feeling silky and clean.

Body scrub

Directions: 1/4 cup Sea salt, 1/4 cup Epson salts, 1/4 cup coconut oil or Olive oil, I tbsp honey and 1/4 tsp Vanilla powder or 5 drops of your favorite essential oil (Lavender, Rose, Ylang Ylang) Blend together with a wooden spoon. Voila your scrub awaits you!! You come out of the of the shower feeling clean, refreshed and moisturized.
